Lynne loves her home in the woods but found it challenging to keep her vaulted-ceiling home warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Keeping it cool in the summer was especially important for Lynne because of her four-legged, furry friend, Tara. She described her bills for the first winter with just propane as “astronomical” and no air-conditioning for Tara.
Lynne was familiar with geothermal energy because her father was an executive at Detroit Edison and she knew that it is clean, green, makes a home more comfortable and is a big money saver. “Propane is so expensive to heat with. Why wouldn’t someone do this?”
Lynne contacted Well-Connect after seeing an ad in Country Lines Magazine. She knew she wanted geothermal in her home but did not want the expense of traditional geothermal systems and did not want the extensive digging required for traditional geothermal systems.
